Scorecards of Norfolk Naval Training Station

Norfolk Naval Training Station, Commodore McClure led the charge to capitalize on the influx of professional baseball players and Signalman Chief Gary Bodie who spent a good portion of his Navy career playing for various naval teams in the 1920s and 30s. With a steady stream of all-stars including a pair of future Hall of Fame enshrinees, Bodie’s teams were dominant against regional service, semi-pro, minor and major league clubs.
